About The Position

The Host position involves performing host duties such as checking guests in and assisting with boarding. This role also includes sales transactions, stocking and cleaning the gift shop, and creating attractive inventory displays. The Host may also assist the reservationist when needed.

Requirements

• Cash handling and customer service experience required
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, an enthusiasm for selling, and an enjoyment for working with others
• Must be self-motivated, have high degree of integrity honesty and a strong work ethic
• Must be able and willing to work evening hours and during holiday weekends

Responsibilities

• Perform host duties, including checking guests in and assisting with boarding
• Performs sales transactions, both cash and credit, assisting the customer with item selections, bagging, wrapping, and payment.
• Keep the gift shop stocked and cleaned
• Clean depot between excursions
• Record and report inventory of the gift shop
• Create physically attractive displays of giftshop inventory
• Assist reservationist with duties when needed
