About The Position
We are looking for a friendly and organized Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will set the tone for their dining experience by providing a warm welcome and ensuring efficient seating. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and enjoys creating a positive experience for every guest.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a host or customer service role preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide an exceptional first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the restaurant’s seating system
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests updated
- Assist in coordinating with servers and bussers to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere
