The Host – Busser will greet guests on their way into the restaurant, hand out menus, and show guests to the most appropriate table at their arrival. They will also assist with handling customer phone calls, taking to-go orders, and answering any questions about the restaurant and menu, including questions about dietary restrictions and accommodations. The Host is the first person guests see upon entering the restaurant, so maintaining a professional and cheerful demeanor is important. This role requires the ability to handle several competing priorities. A Busser is responsible for ensuring tables are set, silverware is placed correctly, and glasses stay full. They support the waitstaff to ensure all tables are set and cleared in a timely manner.
