About The Position

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing every guest with a positive, professional first and last impression. Hosts quote accurate wait times and answer guests’ questions when there is a wait. P.F. Chang’s hires Hosts or Hostesses for full-time or part-time work and provides on-the-job training.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

Interact courteously with guests by answering phones, greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders.
Complete sanitation practices at the front door, host desk, lobby area, and crowd-control areas to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
Learn the restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
Learn curbside processes and takeout expectations.
Conduct required side work for each shift.
Maintain the overall flow of the restaurant, provide a positive and professional impression, quote accurate wait times, and answer guests’ questions.
