Our Hosts are responsible for the initial greeting and seating of Guests, answering phones, taking reservations, maintaining an accurate wait when necessary and bidding farewell to all Guests. They are the first and last impression of Maggiano’s to our Guests. The company's purpose is to bring people together to celebrate the love of family and friends, following "The Maggiano's Way." Maggiano's Little Italy was pioneered by Norman Brinker, who introduced the concept of "casual dining." Today, Brinker International operates thousands of restaurants, with Maggiano's embodying Italian American tradition. The company emphasizes sharing and helping others, hosting special events like weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthdays, and baby showers. They support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the North Texas Food Bank, and the Brinker Family Fund to assist employees in need. The work environment is described as a "fast-paced world" requiring "Long days, lots of energetic service, staying upbeat, putting everyone else ahead of ourselves, hoisting heavy plates of Mom’s Lasagna!" The Front of the House team, including Hosts, aims to make Guests feel special in a welcoming Italian Americana setting. Brinker International is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity, working, and fun.
