About The Position
Tucker’s in Bedford is looking for a host who can work Monday-Thursday. There is opportunity to work at a part-time level, only a few days if that better suits your schedule. The Host is the first Team member to interact with our guests as they enter Tucker’s. It is the job of the host to greet arriving guests, welcome them to Tucker’s and seat them. The guests receive their first impression of the service of Tucker’s by their exchange with the host. The host is a personal representation of the service and overall hospitality of the staff of the restaurant. While guests are waiting to be seated or waiting for take-out orders to be ready, it is the job of the host to ensure that the guests are made comfortable and kept informed of the status of their orders or wait times. In addition, the host monitors the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitors the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
