About The Position

Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern is seeking a Host to create a positive first impression and make guests feel welcome in person and over the phone. The Host manages seating in the dining room to support service quality, guest satisfaction, and sales opportunities. The role also includes answering restaurant questions, handling guest requests and complaints with satisfaction as the priority, and contributing to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Create a positive first impression and welcome guests in person and over the phone.
Control guest seating in the dining room to support service quality, guest satisfaction, and sales opportunities.
Answer guests’ questions about the restaurant.
Handle guest requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Report to work on time according to the schedule and maintain the required uniform, hygiene, and cleanliness.
Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist with duties when needed.
Communicate suggestions for improvement positively.
Follow applicable safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions and use materials and equipment properly.
Know the restaurant’s emergency procedures.
Perform assigned duties and maintain knowledge of standards and procedures in the associate handbook.
