About The Position

The company is seeking a full-time Host who brings energy, curiosity, and a love of great food, drink, and conversation. Hosts at The Lenox do more than greet and seat; they set the tone for the entire dining experience by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, managing the flow of service, and supporting the team in delivering exceptional hospitality across three distinct outlets: Sweeney’s on Boylston (a lively neighborhood favorite), The Irving at The Lenox (an intimate lobby cocktail bar), and Willow & Ivy (offering New England–inspired American cuisine led by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney).

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills in English
• At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, preferably in a food & beverage department
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Sunday availability is required

Nice To Haves

• Multilingual candidates are a plus
• Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems is helpful

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, memorable first impression for every guest
• Manage reservations and guest flow to ensure timely, seamless service
• Answer phone inquiries and reservations
• Maintain exceptional service standards and a polished, professional demeanor
• Assist the service team by clearing and resetting tables as needed
• Keep host stations and equipment clean, organized, and guest‑ready
• Anticipate and exceed guest expectations with confidence and care
