Emmy Squared Pizza, NULU is looking for experienced Hosts to join our growing team! Requirements

Prior host or front-of-house experience in a high-volume restaurant required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and teammates.
Computer proficiency and comfort navigating reservation systems.
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
Team-player mentality with a passion for hospitality and great food.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, reach overhead, twist, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Problem-solving skills, service recovery experience, and strong guest-service instincts are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly attitude and provide prompt, courteous service.
Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Seat guests following designated seating guidelines to support balanced server sections.
Prepare seating areas by ensuring tables are clean, chairs are pulled out, and menus are placed.
Manage reservations and waitlist; familiarity with OpenTable, Resy, or similar platforms is a plus.
Assist with takeout orders as needed.
Monitor dining areas to ensure proper guest flow and overall safety and comfort.
Support servers and other team members during service as needed.
Communicate guest requests, preferences, or dietary restrictions to the appropriate team members.
Perform opening, closing, and side-work duties with consistency.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready work environment.
Maintain a positive, upbeat demeanor throughout service.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and Emmy’s Steps of Service.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
