About The Position

Greet guests when they enter the restaurant and assign seating. This role involves managing guest flow, taking reservations, and ensuring a positive initial experience for patrons. The host is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the dining area and assisting the waitstaff and bus staff as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate micros register.
• Must be able to count currency.
• Must be able to complete restaurant paperwork.
• Possess good customer relations skills.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Ability to speak clearly (talking).
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Walking and stair climbing.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lifting to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests when they enter the restaurant and assign seating.
• Obtain and return cash bank to Cage.
• Balancing reports on shift.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Display buffet menu on board and seating signs.
• Greeting and seat guests.
• Take reservations.
• Direct waitstaff to their section.
• Inform bus staff which tables to service.
• Ring up guest’s checks.
• Stocking of supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
