About The Position

We are currently seeking a host/hostess to join our team at Addams Tavern. We are looking for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. The goals of this role include greeting guests with genuine enthusiasm and hospitality, informing guests of estimated wait times, inputting guest information into the reservation system properly, showing guests to their tables and taking initial drink orders, and bidding guests a warm farewell upon departure. Additional duties include performing light housekeeping, ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked, reporting on time and in proper uniform, and promoting teamwork within the restaurant.

Requirements

Year-round availability.
Weekday and weekend availability.
Display a confident and professional appearance.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well with a team.
Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
Must be able to carry about 35lbs.
Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in full-service restaurant is preferred.

Responsibilities
