About The Position

We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team at Hotel Clermont in Atlanta, GA. This role is the face of the restaurant, responsible for ensuring memorable and impactful experiences for all guests. You will be an integral part of making sure each visitor's stay is enjoyable and efficient, offering a friendly welcome and addressing their needs promptly.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours
• Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive hand and wrist motion

Responsibilities

• Learn the menu, including the daily specials and accurately describe how dishes are prepared
• Check the dining room constantly for cleanliness and organization and restock condiments on the table as necessary
• Greet guests warmly as they enter to create a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Help clear and wipe down tables and set up tables with utensils and glassware for the next party
• Handle booking of reservations, be quick to solve seating problems, and troubleshoot any phone inquiries from customers
• May be entrusted with additional duties as assigned
