About The Position
Hosts at Cantina Del Rio will be the first impression of the restaurant and deliver exceptional customer service to guests. This is a great entry-level position into the restaurant industry with excellent pay potential, and no experience is necessary. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people each day with a smile.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid and current Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to work at least 3 days a week, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Provide accurate wait times to guests and monitor waiting lists, providing updates as requested
- Escort guests to assigned tables with light but friendly conversation to make guests feel comfortable and welcomed
- Coordinate with other wait staff on available tables to ensure proper waiting times are accurate and current
