About The Position

Hog Island Oyster Bar is looking for HOSTS! The Host position welcomes customers to our restaurant, and provides support for the rest of the service staff. This is a great opportunity to grow within the restaurant industry. If you are an experienced Host and have knowledge of POS systems and the service industry, even better. Candidates must have availability to work evenings. Hog Island Oyster Co. is proud to be a Benefit Corporation, using business as a force for good.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends.
• Great communication skills.
• Teamwork.
• Ability to get the job done with minimal direction.
• Excellent customer service even when the pressure is on.
• A passion for learning and talking about food, beer, wine and cocktails.
• A willingness to learn and grow.
• Availability to work evenings.
• The physical ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company guidelines and adhere to the rules and regulations as laid out in the company handbook.

Responsibilities
