About The Position

Bagelmania is hiring a host for its high-volume restaurant near the convention center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The host welcomes guests, manages the timely and efficient seating of parties in appropriate areas, and helps maintain a positive guest experience. The role includes communicating wait times and seating availability, handling calls and reservations, coordinating with restaurant staff, and keeping entry and storage areas clean and orderly. Schedule flexibility, including nights and weekends when necessary, is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must communicate clearly and effectively in English.
Must be legally able to work within state and federal guidelines.
Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and prioritization.
Must obtain an SNHD Food Handler's Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to multitask and remain positive in busy working conditions.
Must comply with brand and company uniform and hygiene policies.
Must have schedule flexibility, including nights and weekends when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet guests upon arrival.
Keep guests informed about wait times, available seating, and their places in the queue.
Answer incoming guest calls and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
Make guest and large-party reservations where applicable.
Seat guests according to their preferences while balancing customer flow across service stations.
Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
Provide guests with menus, ensure tables are properly set, identify the server, and offer assistance.
Communicate with servers, bussers, and bartenders as needed.
Maintain clean and orderly storage and entry areas.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Follow company policies regarding food service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
