About The Position

Ruth’s Chris Hosts welcome Guests when they arrive and provide a warm farewell after their dining experience. Hosts help create the restaurant’s hospitality experience by greeting Guests, coordinating the flow of arrivals, seating Guests, and engaging with them while escorting them to their tables. They also answer restaurant calls professionally and communicate effectively with Guests and fellow Team Members.

Requirements

• Ability to provide a warm, welcoming experience to Guests.
• Ability to coordinate Guest flow, greet and seat arrivals, and bid departing Guests farewell.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests and fellow Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to every Guest who calls or visits the restaurant.
• Coordinate and control Guest flow by greeting arrivals, seating Guests, and warmly farewelling departing Guests.
• Walk Guests to their tables and engage with them along the way.
• Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with Guests and fellow Team Members.
• Work well with others as a team player.
