About The Position
Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a dedicated and service-focused hospitality leader to join the team of the Grand Gardner Hotel as Host. The Grand Gardner Hotel is an Urschel Development property located in Downtown Valparaiso, IN. Urschel Development is a fully owned subsidiary of Urschel Laboratories located in Chesterton, Indiana. The Grand Gardner Hotel features 58 rooms and suites, a full-service restaurant, a speakeasy, banquet space, and inviting gathering areas. As part of an employee-owned organization, our team takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality, supporting one another, and creating memorable experiences for every guest who visits. As the first point of contact for guests visiting our speakeasy, the Host plays a key role in creating a memorable and welcoming experience from the moment guests arrive. This position manages reservations, welcomes guests, coordinates seating, and helps maintain the distinctive atmosphere that makes our speakeasy a unique destination within the Grand Gardner Hotel.
