About The Position

Pearlz Columbia is seeking a warm, welcoming, and high-energy Host to be the first point of contact for guests. This role involves greeting guests, managing seating, handling waitlists, and assisting with takeout orders to ensure a smooth and positive dining experience. The Host is crucial in creating a memorable impression that encourages guests to return.

Requirements

• Must be 16+ years of age
• Stellar communication and hospitality skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain an upbeat attitude during busy periods
• Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• Restaurant or customer service experience
• Familiarity with reservation platforms, with Resy experience being a significant plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and manage seating flow
• Communicate wait times clearly and keep guests informed
• Assist with takeout orders and phone reservations
• Manage reservations and waitlists using Resy
• Help reset tables and run food when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host station
• Ensure every guest leaves feeling appreciated and excited to return
