About The Position

The Host is responsible for greeting guests when they enter the restaurant and assigning seating. This is a part-time position with a salary range of $15.00 - $15.00 per hour, typically working the second shift. The schedule includes Tuesday through Saturday, with specific hours varying slightly on Fridays and Saturdays. The schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Requirements

• No formal education required.
• Must be able to operate micros register.
• Must be able to count currency.
• Must be able to complete restaurant paperwork.
• Possess good customer relations skills.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Ability to speak clearly (talking)
• Minimum of 18 years old.
• Walking and stair climbing.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lifting to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and return cash bank to Cage.
• Balancing reports on shift.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Display buffet menu on board and seating signs.
• Greeting and seat guests.
• Take reservations.
• Direct waitstaff to their section.
• Inform bus staff which tables to service.
• Ring up guest’s checks.
• Stocking of supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
