About The Position
The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing every guest with a positive, professional first and last impression. Hosts quote accurate wait times when there is a wait and answer guests’ questions. The position involves greeting and seating guests, answering phones, making reservations, taking food orders, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, learning the restaurant’s seating layout and service areas, setting and clearing tables, learning curbside and takeout processes, and completing required side work. Previous experience is not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
- Interact courteously with guests by answering phones, greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and taking food orders.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards at the front door, host desk, lobby area, and during crowd control.
- Learn the restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
- Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
- Learn curbside processes and takeout expectations.
- Complete side work as required for each shift.
- Maintain the overall flow of the restaurant and provide guests with a positive, professional first and last impression.
- Quote accurate wait times and answer guest questions.
