About The Position
The Host Person position is responsible for meeting, greeting, and seating guests, in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. The Host Person seats guests and manages the flow of reservations to maximize the guest experience and will also be responsible for answering the phone and taking, tracking, and organizing reservations, to-go orders, and special requests. sbe is a globally recognized lifestyle hospitality company known for creating iconic hotels, restaurants, and nightlife destinations that blend elevated design, energy, and service. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to provide documentation that shows you are authorized to work in the United States.
- Minimum of one (1) years relevant experience in high-service-focused environment.
- ANSI approved Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service certificate recognized by the ABC.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer a minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospitality host role
- Experience with taking reservations a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensures a seamless guest experience
- Approaches guest and collects information needed to assist with seat and bar arrangements.
- Maintains knowledge of the venue floor plan and table numbers, seating the room evenly and consistently per venue management’s instruction.
- Greets all guests warmly.
- Maintains a clean and organized reception area.
- Performs opening, running, and closing side work
- Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
- Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
- Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
- Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
