About The Position
Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Host Person provides a warm, friendly first impression by greeting guests as they arrive, answering questions, and making them feel comfortable. Manage seating charts, maintain organized waitlists, escort guests to tables, provide menus, and inform guests of estimated wait times. Hostesses also handle reservations and coordinate with staff to optimize table turnover. Throughout the dining experience, hostesses monitor guest needs, address concerns promptly, and ensure satisfaction. They may also assist with special events, large groups, or promotions. Front-of-House Maintenance: Hostesses keep the entrance, host stand, and dining areas clean and organized. They may perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning menus, glasses, and ensuring restrooms are stocked and orderly. Effective communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management is essential to maintain smooth service. Hostesses may relay drink or food orders, update staff on guest arrivals, and assist in coordinating service flow. Host Person will answer phones, take reservations, handle take-out orders, explain menu items, or perform cashier duties
