About The Position

Seat and greet residents with a friendly and welcoming attitude in a timely manner in accordance with Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Assist wait staff and bussers in serving, bussing and resetting tables. Report any resident concerns to the Dining Services Manger immediately. Complete all side work as assigned. Attend all training in-service seminars and pre-shift meetings. Assist in special events. Perform all duties in adherence to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous food service experience.
Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
Entry-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, and Word
Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Basic computer skills.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward customers and coworkers.
