Requirements

Prior customer service or hospitality experience preferred, ideally in a dining or senior living setting.
Warm, friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable engaging with older adults and accommodating various needs with patience and professionalism.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally assist with light lifting.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
A Food Handler Card, along with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage the seating chart and coordinate table assignments to optimize service.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding seating flow.
Assist residents with special seating requests or accommodations as needed.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the dining room entrance and host station.
Answer resident questions about meal service and relay concerns or feedback to supervisors.
Assist with organizing seating for special events or large groups.
Provide support to the dining team during peak times, including assisting with resetting tables and performing light service tasks.
Uphold the community’s standards for hospitality, dignity, and resident satisfaction.
