FOH / Host (Qua Dining-Fountain Valley, CA)
About The Position
QUA Dining is part of Kei Concepts, a growing restaurant group known for creating memorable dining experiences through thoughtful hospitality, quality food, and a strong team culture. We are looking for friendly, organized, and guest-focused individuals to join our front-of-house team as a Host/Hostess. The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, seating guests efficiently, and supporting the front-of-house team during service.
Requirements

- Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Food Handler Card certification is required (We will pay for your certification if you need one!)
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
- Communicate with servers and management to ensure smooth table flow.
- Provide accurate wait times and keep guests updated.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with menus, to-go orders, and general guest needs as needed.
- Support the team with additional duties assigned by management.
