About The Position
AC Hotel Waterfront Vancouver is looking for an attentive, engaging, and service-oriented Host to join our restaurant team! As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for seating arriving guests promptly and process cashier transactions accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Some experience with restaurant computer systems useful.
- Experience handling cash and credit card procedures.
- Basic Math skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability and flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Has a friendly, personable style with guests.
- Anticipates customer needs before they ask.
- Complies with all standards regarding greeting and seating of guests, such as staying within two feet of guests while walking to the table; pulling out chairs for guests, handing guests an open menu, introducing the server and upselling any specials.
- Has full knowledge of and promotes menu, facilities and services, hours of operation and promotional programs.
