About The Position
San Diego Mission Bay Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of their Covewood Restaurant. This role involves greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and wait-lists, and ensuring a smooth dining experience from arrival to seating. The Host/Hostess will have the opportunity to meet and interact with people from all over the world, showcase the hotel and its amenities, and create special memories for guests visiting the resort's multiple dining options. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts the guest's visit and has the ability to create lasting memories.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Reliable, hard-working, friendly, energetic
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
