The Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, is seeking hardworking, dependable, enthusiastic, and customer service-driven individuals to join their fast-paced team as a Host/Hostess. This is a part-time or full-time position with night and weekend availability. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting all guests with a warm welcome and a smile, ensuring a positive first and last impression. Responsibilities

Greeting all guests with a warm welcome and a smile.
Ensuring menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains, and complete.
Making sure entry doors are clean, free of debris, and inviting.
Checking phone reservationists or answering machine messages for all reservations.
Checking with the manager about any large or private parties.
Checking with the kitchen to assess their status, including any delays or item shortages.
Planning the seating chart and organizing reservations.
Escorting guests to their tables and presenting menus.
Ensuring the server is aware that guests have been seated.
Keeping counts for individual servers to ensure fairness.
Maintaining constant contact with servers and the kitchen to determine if a waitlist is necessary.
Keeping the dining room, entryway, bathrooms, and menus clean throughout operations.
Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and presentable work environment.
Saying goodbye and thanking all guests, checking if their experience was wonderful.
Quickly getting a manager if any problems arise.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
