About The Position

The Host/Hostess position at DiamondHead Beach Resort is responsible for planning the seating chart, organizing reservations, and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to Florida state safety and health regulations. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Previous experience in a high-volume, full-service bar or food and beverage outlet is preferred.

• Previous experience in high volume and full-service Bar and/or Food & Beverage/Outlet preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans seating chart and organizes reservations.
• Checks with manager to ensure all reservations for the shift are accounted for and to be aware of any large parties arriving.
• Ensures that the guests’ visit exceeds their expectations.
• Ensures compliance with safety and health regulations of FL state.
