Position Summary The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first and last impression for every guest. This position greets and seats guests, manages the waitlist and reservations, and helps ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating.
• Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table rotation.
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate updates to guests.
• Answer phones and assist with guest questions and reservations.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area.
• Communicate effectively with servers, management, and other team members.
• Assist with bussing, resetting tables, and other team duties as needed.
• Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns and involve a manager when appropriate.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side work.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts.
