About The Position
The Host/Hostess manages guest seating, reservations, and first impressions, creating a welcoming environment for every guest. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating assignments efficiently.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and waitlist management.
- Communicate guest needs and wait times to servers and management.
- Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Provide guests with menus and information about specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with answering phones, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
