About The Position
Amavida is an award-winning, 32-acre, resort-style senior living community adjacent to the Regional Lakes Park in Fort Myers, Florida. We offer residents peace of mind with maintenance-free villas, residences, apartments, and suites, along with exceptional amenities including pools, restaurants, bistros, lounges, outdoor dining areas, pickleball and tennis courts, an art studio, library, and theater. We provide Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, as well as an on-site professionally staffed Wellness Center. Amavida is recruiting for a part-time hospitality-focused Host/Hostess to join our culinary team. This role will primarily focus on ensuring guests have a positive experience as soon as they enter the restaurant by greeting residents in a professional manner following established procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
- Experience in food service work preferred
- Experience in working with seniors preferred
Responsibilities
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Greeting residents as they walk into the restaurant.
- Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table.
