About The Position

As a Hostess at Greensboro Country Club, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities include greeting and seating members and their guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming environment. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and their guests upon arrival, provide a friendly and professional first impression, and manage the flow of guests in a manner that maintains a positive atmosphere.
• Efficiently seat guests according to their preferences and availability. Manage reservation systems and waitlists to ensure smooth seating operations.
• Address member inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy. Ensure all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure timely and accurate service. Relay important information between members and staff.
• Keep the host area organized and clean. Ensure menus and other materials are in good condition and readily available.
• Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and resolve them in a manner that ensures guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
