About The Position
As a Host / Hostess at Boqueria®, your primary mission is to provide a warm and friendly welcome to guests upon their arrival or when they call with questions. You will be responsible for ensuring that guests waiting to be seated are comfortable, informed, and feel well-cared for. This role also involves contributing to and being an integral part of the positive work culture within the company. Boqueria® is a leading Spanish tapas restaurant group on the East Coast, known for its lively tapas bar atmosphere inspired by Barcelona's "Kioskos" and "El Mercado de la Boqueria." The open kitchens serve classic Spanish tapas and seasonal small plates, designed for sharing among friends, family, and co-workers.
Requirements
- Friendly and inviting in person and over the phone
- Able to manage guest seating and wait times
- Team player; you have your team's back, and they have yours
- Ability to learn quickly & be flexible
- A good sense of humor
- Must be at least 18 years old
