About The Position

The Host/Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring a welcoming and organized front-of-house experience. This role supports daily restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with table turnover, and providing excellent customer service in line with company standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Friendly, professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s hosting system
  • Greet guests promptly and seat them in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
  • Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
  • Support takeout order preparation and other side work duties
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow
