About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking a personable and dedicated Host/ess for our all-day dining restaurant, Coin & Candor. In this role, you will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and create memorable dining experiences through genuine engagement and exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements

One to two years' previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury hotel is considered an asset.
Experience using reservation platforms and hospitality technology systems preferred.
Ability to operate computer equipment, Microsoft Office applications, and other Food & Beverage systems.
Strong communication, organizational, and guest service skills.
Ability to multitask, problem solve, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide exceptional service throughout their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.
Manage the host stand, reservation systems, and seating arrangements while ensuring efficient dining room flow.
Answer guest inquiries by phone, email, and hotel communication platforms while assisting with dining requests and special occasions.
Maintain guest preferences, reservation details, menus, and other restaurant administrative materials.
Coordinate with restaurant leadership and hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and follow through on guest requests.
Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining room and verify tables are properly set prior to service.
Develop a complete working knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, allergens, and restaurant information.
