About The Position

Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a Host/Hostess to join their team. This luxurious and tranquil retreat is known for its spring-fed waters and offers a unique wellness experience. Requirements

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized lobby/host area.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push/pull/lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, auditory focus, and visual attention.
Comfortable outdoors performing physical activities.
Ability to navigate uneven ground, diverse terrain, multiple stairs.
Prepared to work in unpredictable weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly as they arrive.
Answer guest questions about the restaurant, menu offerings, and current specials or promotions.
Escort guests to their table and provide menus in an organized and timely manner.
Manage reservations and walk-in seating, both in person and over the phone.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby/host stand area.
Monitor the waitlist and table availability to optimize seating and flow of service.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support timely and accurate service.
Respond professionally to guest concerns or complaints, escalating as appropriate.
Thank guests upon departure and extend a courteous invitation to return.
