Host/Hostess - THE BUFFET
About The Position
The Buffet Host/Hostess serves as an ambassador for Island View Casino and the outlet. The Host is responsible for welcoming, interacting, and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner to promote a truly unique environment and dining experience. Creates and oversees the restaurant seating procedures. Tracks seating assignments to ensure proper guest count and server rotation. Monitors restaurant activity to determine the flow of the guests dining. Greets guests immediately upon their arrival, maintaining a cheerful, courteous disposition and a professional image. Escorts guests to their tables, provides rolled table setting. Communicates with the host stand in the event guests request another table.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience preferred.
