About The Position

Circa 1886 is seeking a Host/Hostess to work evening dinner hours, approximately from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The ideal candidate should have flexible availability for 3-4 shifts per week, including weekends and occasional holidays. They must be professional, friendly, well-spoken, and dedicated to upholding the restaurant's standard of excellence. Circa 1886 is closed on Sunday evenings, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Requirements

• Able to provide top notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• Must have flexible availability to work 3-4 evenings per week, including weekends, from approximately 4pm - 10pm.

Nice To Haves

• Fine dining restaurant experience a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests when they enter the restaurant.
• Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas.
• Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations and respond to customer inquiries about the restaurant and menu
• Engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service.
• Help with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service
