About The Position

We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide guests with an experience that is beyond their expectations and creates guests for life. This individual is likely to be the first point of contact guests have at Slopeside Pub and Grill!

Requirements

The ability to communicate effectively amongst fellow employees and guests.
Time management skills while working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure.
Must possess basic knowledge of dining room procedures and foodservice operations.
Weekday availability for lunch
Must be 15 years of age.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the guest reservation flow and experience of the dining room.
Maintains a clean and organized host station, ensuring menus, binders, side tasks, and other materials are in an orderly presentation if visible to guests.
Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
Follow all cash handling procedures when collecting payment from guests, including ensuring receipts and house banks are always balanced.
Prepare daily staffing sheets and checklists.
A willingness to fill in for other restaurant roles as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dining room, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
Maintains orderly retail displays and inventory/sales reports.
Attends staff meetings as required.
