About The Position

This role involves welcoming guests, ensuring a positive experience through greeting and seating, and addressing guest requests. The position requires maintaining a clean workspace and uniform, and the flexibility to work any time, including holidays. Responsibilities include pouring drinks, managing reservations, ensuring the dining room is presentable, setting up and cleaning event rooms, answering the restaurant phone, and adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. The role is dynamic, with no two shifts being the same.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing and math.
Ability to read, speak, write and understand the primary language of the workplace.
Previous Guest Service experience in a hotel or commercial building preferred but will train the right person.
Customer service and interpersonal skills.
Must meet legal age requirements of the state.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift)
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds (including trays, supplies, or equipment)
Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive motions
Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, and humidity
Ability to navigate stairs, docks, patios, pool decks, and uneven surfaces
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-noise environment with frequent interruptions
Visual and auditory ability to observe guests, staff, and service areas
