About The Position

The Host Greeter is responsible for ensuring all members and guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner, providing extraordinary customer service in accordance with Omni standards. This role involves managing the restaurant entrance, handling reservations, and assisting servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Requirements

• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management, and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
• Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Food Handlers and RBS certifications preferred.
• MICROS Experience preferred.
• Familiarization of the menu.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire and name tag.
• Greet guests and members entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests and members by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing menus.
• Introduce and assign servers to guests.
• Thank every guest upon departure and invite them to return.
• Control heavy volume at the restaurant entrance.
• Section off reservations and server sections.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness, and guest well-being.
• Assist servers as needed.
• Answer the phone and record reservations.
• Handle all call-in orders.
• Effectively communicate reservations to the Manager on Duty (MOD) and Chef.
• Maintain knowledge of the resort property.
• Inform guests about daily and weekly specials.
• Tend to and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Restock silverware.
• Perform and complete shift checklists.
• Attend department meetings and required company training.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Benefits

• Pay Rate: $26.7 - $35.61
