About The Position
Casey J’s Tavern is looking for an energetic and dependable Host/Food Runner to join our team. This is a permanent, year-round opportunity—not a seasonal position. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and passionate about hospitality. You’ll help create a welcoming experience for our guests while supporting smooth, efficient restaurant service. Casey J’s Tavern is a casual, welcoming neighborhood restaurant serving wood-smoked barbecue favorites, elevated pub fare, creative cocktails, and more. We’re proud to offer quality food, friendly service, and a comfortable place where our guests can relax and feel at home. Requirements
- Energetic, positive, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, friendly, and attentive to detail
- Restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not required
- Availability to work a consistent, year-round schedule
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Manage the host stand and assist with guest seating
- Communicate wait times clearly and professionally
- Deliver food to tables promptly and accurately
- Help ensure orders are complete and properly presented
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Keep guest and service areas clean and organized
- Assist the team wherever needed during busy shifts
