About The Position

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an on-call Host/ess for Noe Restaurant. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the Host/ess greets and seats guests, coordinates reservations, and responds to inquiries in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner to support guest satisfaction and comply with Four Seasons policies. The role includes seating guests according to party size, managing the reservation book and seating chart, answering phones and taking reservations, providing information about the restaurant and hotel services, and inspecting and maintaining menus. The Host/ess is expected to develop working knowledge of menu items. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

Must be able to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requires knowledge of or the ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
Requires proficiency in English.
Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Six to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests promptly according to the number in their party.
Review the guest reservation book and maintain the seating chart for servers and the restaurant cover count.
Answer phones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations.
Provide information about the restaurant and other hotel services.
Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure their quality, condition, and appearance.
Develop working knowledge of all menu items.
