About The Position

The Host/Hostess is responsible for managing the guest arrival and departure experience, ensuring a seamless, organized, and welcoming environment at our off-site restaurant. This role serves as the central point of coordination for dining room flow and is accountable for maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and guest satisfaction always. Requirements

Previous guest service or host experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Food Safety Certification and Wisconsin Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be re-certified as needed

Responsibilities

Greeting all guests promptly with a professional and welcoming demeanor
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments using established systems
Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating to support service efficiency
Escort guests to tables and provide menus in a polished manner
Communicate continuously with servers, managers, and culinary team regarding table status and guest needs
Provide accurate wait time estimates and manage guest expectations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, lobby, and entry areas
Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and assist with reservations
Support guest recovery efforts by escalating concerns to leadership when needed
Adhere to all company policies, service standards, and safety procedures
Other duties & responsibilities as assigned by Manager
