About The Position

The Host/Hostess warmly welcomes guests to the restaurant and ensures fast, courteous service to create a pleasant dining experience and encourage repeat visits.

Requirements

Ability to greet all guests promptly and courteously.
Ability to manage seating to maintain an even distribution of tables among servers, optimizing service efficiency.
Ability to support the Manager or Supervisor with opening duties, including assigning server stations and retrieving and sharing daily specials.
Ability to handle take-out and room service orders, answering calls and using suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
Ability to accurately process payments received from servers, following established cash and charge procedures.
Ability to provide correct change, reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift, and complete all required opening and closing paperwork.
Ability to accurately document any voids on the balance sheet.
Ability to assist Buspersons with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables as needed to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
Ability to respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, ensuring all needs are met and following up to confirm satisfaction.
Ability to maintain a polished and professional image through appropriate dress and grooming at all times.
Ability to follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards to support smooth restaurant operations and uphold brand integrity.
