About The Position

The Host/Cashier is responsible for providing a hospitable and courteous experience for guests at the Infinity Buffet. This role involves processing payments, taking drink orders, seating guests, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to follow established procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary languages of the work location.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and buffet procedures, generally involving one year minimum, as a bus person.
• Must be customer orientated.

Responsibilities

• Always smile and have a pleasant facial expression when in view of guests.
• Be hospitable, courteous, and helpful with our guests at all times.
• Process payments, take drink orders, and walk the guests to their table.
• Follow the rotation at all times unless a guest requests a specific table.
• Process all receipts and paperwork properly.
• Answer the phone in a polite and courteous manner.
• Roll silverware at the end of the shift or as needed.
• Always wear nonslip footwear.
• Perform any other duties requested by the Sous Chef, Supervisors, or Manager.
