About The Position

The Front Desk Intern supports the Front Office team in delivering exceptional guest service. This role provides hands-on experience in hotel operations, guest relations, and administrative responsibilities while developing hospitality and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Hospitality, Business, or related program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Gain knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS)
  • Develop customer service and communication skills
  • Understand hotel operations and interdepartmental coordination
  • Learn problem-solving and conflict resolution techniques

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
  • Answer and direct phone calls using proper etiquette
  • Maintain accurate guest records and reservations in the property management system
  • Support daily front desk operations and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with handling guest complaints and escalating when necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
