About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Hospitality Operations, the Hospitality Services Assistant supports the Firm’s hospitality operations, ensuring a polished, welcoming, and efficient experience for both internal and external clients in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Requirements

  • Valid Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum 1 year experience with basic cooking tasks, (e.g. ingredient prep, portioning, and plating)
  • Previous hospitality, catering, or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and internal ordering systems)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends
  • Ability to lift between 15-20 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up catering requests and refreshments for meetings
  • Refresh boardrooms, along with water service, ensuring readiness for meetings
  • Support boardroom configurations and ensure meeting spaces are tidy and well-stocked before and after use
  • Prepare fresh salads, sandwiches, light meals, and custom orders, with attention to presentation and dietary needs
  • Clean and organize kitchen areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashing stations
  • Maintain kitchenette and servery equipment, including coffee machines, dishwashers, microwaves, etc.)
  • Monitor and restock inventory of beverages, snacks, and supplies across catering kitchen, kitchenettes and serveries
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and putting away food and inventory deliveries
  • Clean and reset catering carts and service stations after events, returning equipment and utensils to catering kitchen
  • Follow food safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple service requests
