About The Position

The role is responsible for providing support of the New Belgium brand experience through both paid and private tours, beer education and knowledge and exceptional customer service and sales. The role involves guiding guests on tours around the brewery, conducting retail operations, and understanding and practicing safety guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum six (6) months of customer service-related work experience
Exceptional customer service skills and abilities
General knowledge of brewing and the beer industry
Knowledge and understanding of local laws/guidelines around identification and service of alcohol (TIPS trained)
Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak in front of larges groups
General understanding of new Belgium’s branding theories, practices and strategic vision
General computer and email skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekends.
Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve matters appropriately and effectively

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and education on NBB beers, culture and business practices
Guides guest on tours around the brewery and providing exceptional experiences
Conduct retail operations, including merchandise stocking/handling, register/money handling
Understand and practices New Belgium’s safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned
